Lithuanian carriers say simplification of entry into Russia, although officially this was not mentioned.

Total inspection of trucks with Lithuanian numbers on the Latvian-Russian border stopped, and now for the delivery of goods from Lithuania to Russia carriers can again choose the shortest route – through Latvia. This is reported by the representatives of the Lithuanian Association of Carriers Linava.

-«There is no official announcement that tighter checks are canceled, but by carriers we hear that it is now easier to enter the Russian Federation» – confirmed portal DELFI member of the Presidium of the Lithuanian Association of Carriers Linava Erlandas Mikėnas.

In November Lithuanian carriers were problems not only at the border, since arriving in Moscow cargoes have also been fully examined. To reduce time costs, trucks with Lithuanian numbers massively changed the route – began to go to Russia through Belarus. Some companies even overloaded cargoes.
